Two veterans with a dream
Joshua Keller Katz and Nicole Margulis are a husband and wife Navy veteran duo based in Los Angeles, CA. They both boast over a decade of on set experience as actors, tactical performers, and technical advisors. KatzMar was launched as a veteran owned and operated technical advising company specializing in the authentic and safe depiction of military and tactical abilities both on screen and behind the camera. Our goal is to create a respectful and realistic depiction while working in harmony with production teams and creatives. Hiring advisors saves times and money while ensuring quality and safety.
About Us
Joshua Keller Katz
Joshua Keller Katz served as a first military responder to D.C. and New York on 9/11 as an active duty member of the U.S. Navy. Trained as a gunner's mate and missle technician, Joshua is uniquely trained in weapons handling and tactical operations. He is a seasoned consultant with over a decade of experience in film, TV, commercial, and print productions.

Nicole Margulis
Nicole Margulis is a former Intelligence Specialist for the U.S. Navy where she served active duty during the Post 9/11 operations. She held a TS/SCI security clearance during her service and was attached to two F-18 fighter jet squadrons. Having been the only female in her chain of command, Nicole understands the importance of preserving and amplifying the female experience in military and tactical settings. ​​
